Hello,

We do not have a formal template. The one hard requirement is to submit a patch to Wine. A trivial spelling fix is not enough, but e.g. a test in the area of your application is a good idea.

I assume you have already found our GSOC wiki page at https://wiki.winehq.org/Summer_Of_Code <https://wiki.winehq.org/Summer_Of_Code> .

Please keep in mind that for all proposed ideas we are looking for some added details from you. If you only copypaste the idea from the Wiki page it will be rejected. We want to see that you have spent some thought on your proposal and know what you are talking about.
