Great, that's definitely the simplest thing for that piece of the puzzle.

The launch script that gets installed to /usr/[local/]bin, for example:
ehoover at lappy:~$ chcp.com
wine: cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\chcp.com.exe"
