[AppDB] - simplify appimage.php

Appimage.php had a bunch of redundant and confusing code, nevermind that it 
was nearly entirely broken.

Clean the code up, remove the redundant code and remove one of the two 
database queries that occurs in the case where we are actually displaying the 
image requested.
