[ole32/tests 3/3] Fix a crash on NT4 and below (Try2)

Hi,

(Try2 as this series of 3 replaces the previous single patch. This last 
patch of this series is basically the same as that single one.)

This fixes a crash on NT4 and Win9x. There are still a few (4) test
failures on these platforms. I have to talk to Huw about the best
approach to fix these.
