Hi,
Seek stops playing (like all other MCI devices appear to do).
There were at least 2 bugs in SkipDataTracks, one branch never taken
and one causing an out of bounds array access.
Once SkipDataTracks fixed, I could correct another boundary case in Play.
Although clearly a kernel bug, as a nice side-effect these changes
strongly reduce the likelihood that some apps using MCICDA provoke a
complete freeze of one Ubuntu Intrepid system here (fixed in Lucid IIRC)
