Hi,

I forgot the "rule of stubs": report success everywhere despite the blatant lie.

In depth, MCI SetVideo on native's AVIVIDEO returns a few UNSUPPORTED_KEYWORDs, but other ones do something. It's not worth making the distinction unless some functionality is implemented, but the better trace will show more useful information.

I'm wondering whether SetVideo may help apps that have trouble with msvfw: that dll is also missing functionality. It might explain why apps using msvfw are genereally better off using a native .dll. But I've not analysed such cases in enough depth.

Regards,
 Jörg Höhle
