[PATCH 3/3] d3d8/tests: Add a software vertexprocessing buffer discard test (try 2)

try 2: Create the device manually instead of modifying create_device

HARDWARE and MIXED vertexprocessing return different pointers and do
not retain the buffer data. MIXED vertexprocessing with
D3DRS_SOFTWAREVERTEXPROCESSING set to TRUE segfaults in BeginScene on
Windows.
