installing wine for redhat 7.0

I installed wine using a cvs- rpm package from 30 01 2001.
When I try to run a windows program (eg solitair) wine creates a font
metrics.
It is during the font metrics I get :
                    fixme:font:LFD_InitFontInfo DBCS font like
-daewoo-gothic-medium-r-normal--16-120-100-100-c-160-ksc5601.1987-O are
not working
                        correctly now
                    >>>More fixme ... like the previous line.>>>

                   > >>More fixme ... like the next line...>>>
                    fixme:font:LFD_InitFontInfo font
'-b&h-lucidatypewriter-medium-r-normal-sans-8-80-75-75-m-50-koi8-ub' has
unknown character encoding
                       'ub' in known registry 'koi8'

After the errors I get :
wine: can't exec 'sol.exe' : invalid exe file


How do I solve this problem ? Are the errors created during the font
metrics creation related to the last error?
