Hi,

New to wine, i'm using dual boot system.
Wine installation seems to be ok.

But I was unable to launch any win apps

and got two msgs:


1)      # the problem must be that my unix is mandrake 7.0 french and
windows 98 is russian
          #  How to get round it?

For language 'fr' several language ids were found:
fr_FR - 040C; fr_BE - 080C; fr_CA - 0C0C; fr_CH - 100C; fr_LU - 140C;
Instead of using first in the list, suggest to define
your LANG environment variable like this: LANG=fr_FR

2) # It seems as if wine couldn't find the way to the executables
      # What to do?

can't find excel.exe   (or winword.exe)
