Diablo II - Lord of Destruction Expansion

I had to use the no-cd Game.exe or Game_crk2.exe ren to Game_crk.exe
for it to work.  if you want these files, i could post a mini-howto on
a webserver for you.

I can't use Battle.net with DLoad.exe and I have no idea why it can't
find a tcp/ip address for none battle net play.

i'm using a rawhide build of wine dated 20010625.  I've tried others
but would it be that i'm on a lan with no modem in the machine? 
please advise if anyone could help.
