moo2 under wine-20010629: Mouse hangs

Hi everybody!

I am trying to get Master Of Orion II to work with wine. It works fine,
until it comes to the second selection screen. The main menu, and even the
opening movie  runs fine. But on the world selection screen the mouse
hangs. The game seems to run thus,  because music is played without
problems. 

Moo2 is so far the only program I have installed for wine, and I don't
have a native Windows installation on my machine.
Moo2 comes with directX 2.
