Is your system using a proxy server?

In our setup here I can get at everything from my Microsoft machine through
the proxy server but from my Linux machine I can only use the Linux
Netscape (with the proxy defined in the advanced options).

When we don't use the proxy I can access the network from the linux
machine.

(Even with some help I was unable to get the eBorder Linux proxy client to
work with the microsoft proxy server)
