(Newbie) FIXME:font troubles ?

I'm running REdHat linux 6.1 and have installed codeweavers wine 20010305

But every win32 program I try to launch gives me a lot (I mean : a _LOT_) of
FIXME:font problems (<very longish x font name> and something like illegal
descriptor>)
I presume I'm gettin this for ALL fonts on my system. (I've never let it
continue to run as this list just takes minutes to pass by)

Anyway this is not normal is it ?
What's wrong here ?
