Did you get WINEDLLPATH from man wine? Then why didn't you READ man
wine?
WINEDLLPATH
Specifies the path(s) in which to search for
builtin dll files. This is a list of directories
separated by ":". Builtin dlls are also searched in
the directories specified by the standard
LD_LIBRARY_PATH if they are not found in the direc
tories listed in WINEDLLPATH.
What makes you think cards.dll is a wine builtin dll?
Now you are welcome to try become a wine author and make a wine builtin
cards.dll, then wine should find it in WINEDLLPATH if you built it
right, but AFAIK no one has yet.
