[beginner] pb to find libavifil32.so

I tried rpm -U wine-20000909-1mdk.i5856.rpm
but it failed:
    'error: failed dependencies:
               rpmlib(VersionedDependencies) <=  3.0.3-1 is neede by
wine-20000909-1mdk'
what does it mean?

Where can I find a good, recent version of wine?

Well, then, try the one from Mandrake 7.2, if you have it ready to hand.
Right in the Mandrake/RPMS directory is wine-20000909-1mdk.i586.rpm.
That is still old, but a little more recent.  Or is Mandrake 7.2 a typo
too?
