Keyboard Grabbing

Hi,
I've just manages to get "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" and "Elite
Force" working in Linux using wine. The graphics don't work anywhere near
as well as with the native Quake 3 though which does concern me a bit.
My main concern is a lack of keyboard. I looked through earlier postings
for solutions and have now tried the DXgrab=Y option, which didn't help.
Someone also mentioned something about chvt but I'm afraid I don't know
what I should do with that command. Is it really best to run games in a
separate X session? I'd prefer not to do that but I guess it'd be easy
enough, just seems to be overkill (well it will be when I get wolfenstein
working ;-)
Thanks for any help you can offer,
John
P.S. Sorry if this is a FAQ but I have looked on the wine site and on
this newsgroup and not found anything to help me.
