You don't say if you installed the thing under Wine.
I guess not since most recent installers don't work
under Wine currently :-/

If you installed under Windows, you very probably
need to make available to the app some registry
entries to give it a (slight) chance to work.

This can be done by using 'native' registry but it's
a solution that may work or not depending on the
registry version. A solution that works more reliably
is to export the registry in a text file with regedit and
import it in Wine with regapi.
