Then force MCGA, like I suggested. The MCGA board did not support the
EGA/VGA 16-color modes, but it did support the 320x200 256-color mode.
Hence, if you choose MCGA, then the game will use 320x200x8 (though
probably still only actually using 16 colors), and should then run under
Wine. (Though I have an unsubmitted patch that sets the 16 default palette
entries that such games use in this mode... without it, the colors may be
wrong, I guess.)
