equation editor's toolbar disappears

Hi
As a newbie I was really surprised that wine worked at the first trial...
except some minor problems:
EquationEditor's toolbar disappears from the screen, and it is only
visible in some funny situations (for example if I close WinWord
when using the equation editor, and the applications asks, if I want to
save changes).
Has anyone had such a problem?
I am using SuSE-7.2 and I have a win-3.11 version with winword 6.0
on a notebook.
