true, but it necessary only if the use includes changes to the core.
If the changes are implemented "around" the core (like dlls)
the LGPL wine can be used. (AFAIU)

I meant:
 It wouldn't be necessary to keep ReWind, if the "official" (LGPL) wine
 already let their dlls and dll enhancements to have a different
 license (as they state).
