Sound problem with Half-life

My sound card is guillemot maxi sound fortissimo. Chipset Yamahe ymf744

It was not disabling the sound card or the sound, it was only disabling
the voice system which allows you to use headset to communicate with
other players. But this solution didn't work anyway :(
