i need to use access.mdb files on linux, and can't find a way of doing it.

many people seem to be asking this question,
but i can find a clear answer.

can i put win32 odbc.exe into wine and get php in linux to see the .mdb
files.

i think the right way to do this is iodbc and a linux access.mdb driver,
but there does not seem to be one.

using mysql is a heavy solution for a small intranet, and much harder to
manage.

i would be extreemly greatful for an educated view.
