Problem compiling wine-20030408

Hi!  I'm trying to compile wine-20030408 on a Slackware 8 Linux system
w/ gcc-3.2.2, binutils-2.13.2.1, and glibc-2.3.2 and I get a
segmentation fault:

Any ideas?   I'm trying to build a newer binutils snaphot now to see if
that will help, if it's a bug in as.
