Printer drivers

after giving up on some canon printers, i found www.turboprint.de.  they're
even responsive if you ask them to support a new printer model.  i have
the canon i850 series, and asked them to support it.  one month later, voila.

it's cheap, and i don't mind supporting their work since they seem to be the
only ones supporting modern printers.  

that said, i now check all hardware before i buy it for compat. with linux.
