Kazaalite install problem

Tried installing kazaalite 1.7.2.  The install went fine, but when i run
it i get:

Any way to get this working?  All i get is a splash screen for 2 secs
then the error message appears.

Using Wine 20030813, on Debian Sid.  Installed wine through apt-get,
fake_windows made by windesetuptk utility.  I get the same problem if i
try installing the most recent version k-lite, k++.  Only things i added
to the config file were:

All the dll's were copied from windows 98 and put into the system
directory.
