System.reg problem

I want to add something to system.reg, but I don't know how to calculate
the number that appears at the end of each registry item in the
system.reg file. For instance, here is an existing entry from
system.reg:

[Software\\Borland\\Database Engine\\Settings\\SYSTEM\\INIT] 973650384
"SHAREDMEMLOCATION"="9000"


Where does the 973650384 number come from? I've searched the
documentation but can't find any relevant info.
