I had encountered your website when I had googled for some israeli Linux
sites.
I saw that you were in the team of Wine developer and I have a problem
installing VSS under wine ; I hope you may help me or advice me
a bit what to do.
I had also tried before to get access to the wine users forum to post my
problem, but it is more than
4-5 days that I try and cannot complete a subsciption (I get error in
subscripion
to the mailing list after the "confirm" stage)
In case you do, here is the details.
Environment: RedHat 9. x86
Wine: Wine-20040213; compilation from source , not rpm install.
running notepad appplication - success ("wine notepad")
Microsoft Visual Source Safe version - 6.0d.
"add-ons" (or call them whatever you may)
from (www.frankscorner.org)
winetools.
I had installed with this tool (winetools)
Fake Window drive,
DCOM98 - necessary for Installshield installers,
Visual C++ Runtime ,
and Windows Script 5.6.
in ~/.wine/config
I had changed
"Windows" = "win98"
to
"Windows" = "winxp"
I had typed"
