SSL with wininet.dll

Hallo everbody,

I tried to run Miranda IM (Instant messenger - www.miranda-im.org) with
wine20040408. It works with ICQ but if I try to connect to the msn-network I
get this debug messages (and it doesn't connect):

[...]
trace:loaddll:load_dll Loaded module L"mpr.dll" : builtin
trace:loaddll:load_dll Loaded module L"C:\\Windows\\System\\WinInet.dll" :
builtin
fixme:wininet:NETCON_init can't use SSL, not compiled in.

I localized this error-message ("NETCON_init can't use SSL, not compiled
in.") here:
http://source.winehq.org/source/dlls/wininet/netconnection.c - but I'm not a
c-programmer an don't know why it fails.

So I thought I could use the native wininet.dll that supports ssl. But the
programm exits when loading a vxd-file:

[...]
trace:loaddll:load_dll Loaded module L"C:\\Windows\\System\\WinInet.dll" :
native
trace:loaddll:load_dll Loaded module L"winedos.dll" : builtin
trace:loaddll:load_dll Loaded module L"vwin32.vxd" : builtin

AFAIK vxd-files can not be replaced by native ones. The menu of Miranda only
works on Win95-emulation, so I can't use Win2k/XP-emulation to avoid
vxd-problems.

Any suggestions what I can do?

Thanks,
Sebastian
