Yes i tried the above options but now i known why i've get this error... im trying other games before staring to "work" in Morrowind (namely Legacy of Kain: Defiance -- wich im unable to run) and it messed up my X from the normal 1024*768 at 24 to a lower res but 'cause i can't restart the X server in that moment i keep going with morrowind ...

Now after a reboot of the X server (and the hole box :) ) i get the following error messages

I think the problem of the errors come directly from bad configured wine and not from misconfigured system settings because i run UT2k4 perfectly wich is runs natively (a great ideia isnt it game developers/publishers?? ) and so is independent from wine ...

Any tips will be apreciated ....
