[Wine]An installation support file could not be installed

Hello fellow wine users.

I am running Mandrake 9.2 (2.4.22 kernel) with wine20040716.

I am trying to install Macromedia FreeHand MX. The installer inflates the
CAB files, then a dialog appears " FreeHand Setup is preparing the
InstallShild wizard which will guide you through the rest of the setup
process. Please wait"

Next I get this error:

"An Installation support file 'C:\Program Files\Common
Files\InstallShield\6\Intel 32\corecomp.ini' could not be installed.
(0x80070005). [OK]" When I click OK, the setup terminates.

The terminal shows this message, I don't know if it's related

fixme:ntdll:FILE_GetNtStatus Converting errno 116 to STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL
(repeated 5 times)

I have tried the following with no success:

killall -9 wine-preloader wine-pthread wine-kthread
wineserver -k
rm -rf /mnt/windows/Program\ Files/Common\ Files/InstallShield

A side note is that I've been able to install, but not run, Dreamweaver MX
and FireWorks MX using the above 3 commands.

Is it possible my programs might run better with WineX? I'm not at all
familiar with it.
