Well, it should be noted that many apps change PATH through
autoexec.bat, especially the more primitive ones -- does wine support
autoexec.bat natively?  (I.e. without a copy of the DOS command prompt
emulator under windows)  And it *could* be useful as a "temporary
workaround" or something, and removed or disabled in a finalized
version.
