as you're getting msi fixmes I suggest, starting your program with
WINEDEBUG=+loaddll wine yourProgram
search in the output for something like
Loaded module msi 
i bet it is loaded builtin not native. In this case add an entry in your 
config file in the dlloverrides section ("msi" = "native").
