Massive Soundproblems with wine and ALSA 1.0.1

Hi,
  I *think* that WRT to Alsa the only Wine support I heard of requires a
much older version of Alsa, like Ver. 0.5.x. I may be wrong about this, but
I did ask awhile ago.

   WRT to OSS emulation I am using Alsa 1.0.1 with a WineX build and it's
working for a couple of games. (Starcraft and Caesar 3) I don't think I've
tried plain Wine in awhile though...
