[Wine]cannot run Wine

hi

I try wine for the first time..
after entering "wine notepad" on the shell
this message appears : Warning: the specified Windows directory L"C:\\Windows" 
is not accessible.
Warning: the specified System directory L"C:\\Windows\\System" is not 
accessible

wine open notepad on kde but it is not possible to save ... (no access to 
windows directory) and the apps is freezing
configuration problem ?
I run Wine version 20040615 on SuSe 9

any help ?
