Counterstrike default color depth???

Hello list

i have just successfully setup the Halflife mod counterstrike. But when 
i try to start hl.exe or cstrike.exe it complains about my screen 
default color depth, it would be to low, but havign a look into 
/etx/X11/XFConfig tells me that 24 bit is the default color depth.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated...


btw i use wine version 20031212
