Wine font problem

I have a simple VC++ application that displays latvian letters
and creates a report using latvian letters. When I run the
application from the wine. Letters in report are displayed
correctly and are printed out absolutely correctly. But
in the first form latvian letters are being displayed as some
wierd chars. Can any suggest anything in my case? I have copied
all the ttf files to my fake c:\windows\fonts catalog. But no luck.
