i think i got this message once when i tried to install dcom98 while running 
wine in w2k mode, but I'm not sure.

there are two ways to use native dlls:
1. Check the [dlloverrides] section in your config file. for example, if you 
want to use ole32 native, there should be a line like:
"ole32" = "native"
2. you can use the env variable 
 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ole32,rpcrt4,otherNativeDLLs=n"

if you want to verify which dlls are used native/builtin, use
WINEDEBUG=+loaddll
