[Wine]Starcraft running sluggishly?

Well, on a system with a Pentium III 550mhz, 256mbs of RAM, and a NVidia RIVA TNT2 M64 videocard, Starcraft runs into serious problems; bogs down quite a bit at the slightest touch.  Oddly enough, the cutscenes run fine, though, and on the Win98 partition on the same system, it runs just about perfectly.  So, I'm wondering: What's a recommended system for running Starcraft using Wine, and, if Starcraft runs fine on your computer, what's its specifications?
