[Wine]Warcraft III can't find cdrom

Hi,

After setting the windows version to winxp I managed to install this
game without a problem. Playing however is another matter. It appears it
can't find the CDrom.

I'm using the deb-packages from winehq (version 20050111) in a sid
chroot on an AMD64 pure64 install with kernel 2.6.8 (Debian package
2.6.8-10). I copied the config file from the sample in the documentation
and only changed the windows version and the dsound entry for emulation.

I've already tried to use win2000 and nt40 as windows version as well as
using -opengl, -- -opengl, war3.exe, a fresh and an updated version of
Warcraft and a nocd-crack; basically all options mentioned in appdb.
Nothing helped.

Running with 'WINEDEBUG=warn+all wine Warcraft\ III.exe -opengl' on an
out-of-the-box installation gave me a lot of logging. This snippet looks
most suspicious to me:

Unfortunately I haven't got a clue where to start looking for a solution
to this problem. Does anybody recognise anything out of the ordinary?
Can anyone give a few hints where to dig into the code?

All of the logging I could salvage is attached to this mail.

TIA,
Thomas
