[Wine]MagicEngine 1.0 and CD games

I am wondering if it is possible to get MagicEngine 1.0 to recognize the CD
drive so one could play CD games with it.
The emulator itself works beautifully in Wine, but it always displays "??" 
when I go to "Load CD." I am somewhat new to Wine, but I have done some
reading about CD configuration and tried using both [scsi] and [Drive] with
"Device" set, and neither seem to work.

Any help would be appreciated.
