Run with WINEDEBUG=int, as can be seen in dlls/winedos/ppdev.c

In IO_pp_init, the registry key is opened.

Arte you sure you program uses direct io? Only win9X programms (and wine
running as win9x) do so. Other programs load a driver (*.sys), which wine
can't load.
