[Wine]Quicken 2000 install fails with insufficient temp disk space

I'm a newbie to WINE.
I'm running WINE 0.0.20050211-1 with kernel 2.6.10 and
the Debian distribution.
I CD to /cdrom and issue the command wine install.exe
and the Quicken 2000 install starts.  
I immediately get a message from Quicken that there is
insufficient temp space to perform the install.
I have no clue about how to proceed.  If someone has a
HOWTO to get Quicken 2000 working, that would be
apprectiated.
