Hi!
  Please verify that after You exit from DC++, it really terminates. At my
machine, it NEVER terminates, just closes the window, and I should 
killall -KILL wine-preloader to get rid of it.
  Of course, while this "hidden" DC++ is running, another one cannot bind
the port You've specified.
  I'm using active mode in DC++ 0.670 without any troubles.
