[Wine] Wine, freebsd and internet explorer

I'm having serious problems when I try to make the aforementioned 
configuration work.

Here's my setup:
freebsd 5.4 stable on athlon-xp (source compiled today)
wine 20050830 installed from ports
xorg 6.8.2
ie6setup.exe downloaded from m$

Once everething is installed I try one of this two methods
to install the browser:

1) Direct method. I type wine ie6setup.exe. It aborts with these messages:

2) I downloaded wine-config-sidenet 1.8.4. I started the setup
and chose default language and option 1 (ie only installation) .
The setup window actually pops up, but all characters are invisible,
that is you see radio buttons and other widgets, but no words.


Does any of you know of some hack around these problems?
