Bah.  Someone needs to implement something like 'application profiles'
that can limit any applications filesystem access, memory/cpu usage
and network access rights.

That whole 'don't login as a user with administrative privileges on
your own box, use multiple user accounts' and 'applications get all
the privileges of the user that runs them' paradigm is about ready to
die.
