The game is called "The Last Express", by Broderbund. It is a multiple
ending "Choose Your Own Adventure" style game set on the Orient Express
shortly before World War I. The player has to contact a passenger on the
train. I couldn't see it in either Wine's or Fred's appdb. I bought it as
a runout special at a local supermarket.

On a reinstall, I get the following in a terminal:

fixme:ddraw:Main_DirectDraw_SetCooperativeLevel
(0x7eaf9b00)->(0x10028,00000008)
fixme:ddraw:Main_DirectDraw_SetCooperativeLevel
(0x7eaf9b00)->(0x10028,00000013)
err:x11settings:X11DRV_ChangeDisplaySettingsEx No matching mode found!
(XF86VidMode)
err:x11settings:X11DRV_ChangeDisplaySettingsEx No matching mode found!
(XF86VidMode)

I tried changing my monitor resolution from 24 bit to 16 bit, but it
apparently wasn't recognized.
