Also - In the process of searching around I noticed this in the system 
registry file;

[System\\CurrentControlSet\\Hardware Profiles\\Current\\Software\\Fonts]

"OEMFONT.FON"="vgaoem.fon"

Only the vgasys.fon file actually exists...

No idea whether its an issue or not
