[Wine] Info Select 1.0 screen problem

Hi,

I'm running Info Select for Windows 1.0 (yeah, ancient) in Wine (0.9.34 at
present). It works fine except for one odd thing. Info Select has windows
within its screen for notes. If one of those is in the open mode for text
input, and I go to a different KDE desktop, when I come back the whole
terminal window in which Info Select is running becomes filled by the video
content of that portion of the other desktop, totally losing the Info Select
content. The only thing to do is kill the Wine session.

This has been constant through many Wine versions. Which Windows version
emulation is selected doesn't change it. I haven't tested on anything but
KDE (currently at 3.5), but it's been constant against that too. I've also
been through several versions of X with no change in this. If I remember to
not have an Info Select window open for editing before changing desktops,
there's no problem - but it's often in the middle of editing that I have an
impulse to get information from another screen, and I forget.

I haven't found any mention of other programs acting like this under Wine.
Has this problem ever been seen with anything else, or any work-around
found?
