[Wine] Agent newsgroup becomes folder

As many others, I use Wine to run Forte Agent as my usenet reader.  Some time
ago, I had a problem with newsgroup (with their saved messages) turning into
folders, and messages becoming reformatted(?) - anyhow, not readily readable.
The next version of Wine(?) fixed the problem, but now it has returned.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any usable way of attacking it? Or
is it a problem with Forte Agent?
