[Wine] Joystick hat not seen by wine

When I use the joydev module wine reports:

trace:joystick:JSTCK_GetDevCaps Driver: 0x020100, Name: 06a3:0460, #Axes: 6,
#Buttons: 6

The joystick works fine but no hat.

When I use the evdev module I get no trace output at all from wine. The
evdev does show the hat with SDL.

I tried adding this to user.reg but the results are the same:

[Software\\Wine\\DirectInput] 1173920887
"06a3:0460"="X,Y,Slider1,Slider2,POV1,POV2"

What do I need to do to get wine to use the joystick hat?
